We're looking for the first people who truly understand what we're building.
Not users. Not fans. Builders who see the same thing we see — and want to be part of making it real.
Inference-X is not a startup. It is not a product. It is infrastructure — like a road, a canal, a network.
The engine is 305KB. It runs on 19 different hardware architectures. It asks for nothing from the cloud.
We are building the first community of people who will own this — as engineers, writers, builders, and thinkers who make it work and grow.
Engine Contributor
CoreYou understand C or C++. You know what happens when code runs close to metal. Add a new hardware backend, improve performance, or fix a bug in a real inference engine.
Web & SaaS Builder
BuildJavaScript, Node.js, or frontend. Build the tools that make Inference-X accessible. Store, dashboard, CLI wrappers.
Technical Writer
BuildWrite clear documentation. Explain a complex system to someone who has never seen it. Guides, tutorials, and translations that actually work.
Model & Benchmark Tester
BuildRun Inference-X on your machine. Report what actually happens — latency, memory, accuracy, edge cases.
Community Steward
GrowUnderstand people. Explain the project to someone who has never heard of it. Moderate discussions and make newcomers feel welcome.
Legal & Governance Advisor
CoreOSS law, IP protection, or corporate governance — ideally in French, Swiss, or EU jurisdiction. Building structures designed to last decades.
Who we are NOT looking for
- People who want to use AI without contributing anything back
- People who would fork this project and remove the creator's name
- People who see "open source" as a way to take without giving
- People motivated only by quick visibility or token rewards
- People who need to be managed — we need people who manage themselves
The creator's name is permanent
Elmadani Salka created Inference-X. That attribution is embedded at the binary level. No governance vote can remove it.
Revenue flows honestly — 20% / 80%
20% of all commercial revenue goes to the rights holder. 80% goes to the Community Fund — paid to contributors quarterly.
The community controls the code, not the vision
Contributors decide roadmap, code direction, store policies. The MANIFESTO and LICENSE cannot be changed by vote.
Providers pay. Users own.
We will never charge users for the engine. Providers who offer hosting through the IX platform pay a certification fee.
This project is designed to outlive its creator
Governance structure, legal protections, and succession documents ensure Inference-X continues regardless of what happens to any individual.
